Team Member Sarah Tate Earns IOM Designation

Congratulations, Sarah!

On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, BHP Chamber team member Sarah Tate graduated from Institute, a program through the
U.S. Chamber of Commerce for chamber and association professionals, having earned the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) designation. The IOM designation signifies a four-year, 96 credit hour curriculum in non-profit management. Tate began her IOM journey in June 2016 as Director of Communications & Community Relations. Today, she proudly serves as Senior Director of Events & Marketing.

On earning the IOM designation, Tate shares, "It is a true honor to have had this development opportunity and I am excited to implement the many things I have learned."

Tate graduated alongside 16 classmates from across the country. "As a class, we are tightly-knit, supporting each other through fierce conversations along with endless ideas and encouragement. I know each of them will do great things!" Tate declares.

In receiving the IOM designation, Tate joins team members Rachel Moss, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Brian Norris, Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, who earned their designations in 2015 and 2018 respectively.
