Get excited...The first State of the City is coming to High Point!
In its inaugural year, Business High Point is establishing an annual State of the City. Each year, at the event, you can expect a highlight presentation from a community leader about an upcoming and exciting project for High Point. Then, the Mayor will then give a State of the City address summarizing the accomplishments of the past year and the goals for the year to come. To conclude the event, Business High Point Inc. and the High Point Chamber of Commerce will present the “Chamber Hero” award to a City employee that has been invaluable in helping us achieve our goals of making High Point the most livable city in America.
This year, the highlight presentation will be presented by Sims Hinds, the Vice-Chair of Forward High Point, Inc. His presentation will focus of the downtown multi-use stadium that is coming to High Point. The mayoral address will be given by Mayor Bill Bencini. The Chamber Hero award winner will be announced at the event.
