In an effort to serve over 1,700 local students, United Way of Greater High Point will collect snack, breakfast and lunch food on November 28th in coordination with the national initiative #GivingTuesday. Items collected will be distributed to those who receive food each weekend discreetly through the United Way BackPack program. United Way’s BackPack program works directly with 17 sites in the Greater High Point area to provide meals and snacks for local children who go hungry without school-provided meals.
