Plan South Main | Hands-On Community Design Workshop

Plan South Main is an opportunity to help shape the future of one of High Point’s most important corridors. This initiative of the Southwest Renewal Foundation will help us create safer streets, more livable neighborhoods and better economic opportunity for all who live, work and learn in the South Main Street area, through better street design. We all live and work here, so we should all have a voice. Mark your calendars for our Hands-On Design Workshop, on Nov. 4, 2025, from 5:30-8 pm (and enjoy a free community dinner with us!). You’ll have a chance to add your ideas, ask questions, and share ideas. Our design team will be working at the Homelegance studio the entire week of Nov. 3-7, from 9 am- 5 pm daily. All sessions are open to the public, not just the Hands-On Community Design session. Feel free to also drop by throughout the week to observe design progress. There will also be a progress presentation from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, when the team will share updates on the design plan.
