Event Description:
On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 the YWCA will host the Women of Achievement Luncheon, presented by
Wake Forest Baptist Health's High Point Medical Center at the High Point Country Club. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. This “Special TRIAD Event” will honor women who are making a difference in their community. She is the woman who is always there, often behind the scenes, committed to going "above & beyond." She is always taking on another project, not for her own glory, but because she sees the need, and steps up to the task. She encourages the group to achieve more than one person ever could and fades back to let the group take the credit. You have often admired and needed her. Now is the time to honor her. The YWCA is currently accepting nominations through October 8th for the following three award categories:
  • Emerging Leader – An up and coming role model, age 45 or under, who has demonstrated proficient skill and enthusiastic leadership in a career, family or community setting.
  • Community Champion – A woman who has devoted many years to making a significant difference for women and the community. YWCA High will host a great lunch with lots of laughter featuring speaker Lucy Wellmaker speaking on Be Inspired, Experience WOW!
