
Westchester Country Day School will hold its 54th graduation ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Adaumont Farm in Trinity, North Carolina.
The 36 graduates in the Class of 2025 achieved 100 percent college acceptance and collectively were offered $2.86 million in college scholarships.
Top Graduates
Valedictorian Claire Neal, daughter of Brent and Sarah Neal of Greensboro, will attend North Carolina State University, where she plans to study materials science and engineering.
Valedictorian Sutton Scott, daughter of Jake and Kerie Beth Scott of High Point, will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she plans to study chemistry.
Salutatorian Thomas Brinson, son of Jay ’94 and Claire Brinson of High Point, will attend North Carolina State University, where he plans to study business.

About the WCDS Commencement Exercises
Westchester will celebrate the Class of 2025 with a Graduation Luncheon at noon on Friday, May 30, at High Point Country Club. The luncheon is by invitation only for graduates, their guests, and school faculty and staff. The alumni speaker for this year's luncheon is David Congdon, class of 1974 Westchester alumnus and executive chairman of Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., who was recently honored with Westchester’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
The graduation ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Adaumont Farm. It is open to Westchester faculty, parents, students, alumni, and guests of the graduates. The ceremony can be viewed via livestream on YouTube at https://youtube.com/live/fbgwwG3tVik?feature=share.
Westchester’s ceremony includes traditions that are unique to the school’s recognition of graduates, including a bagpipe processional. The graduates will be honored with a tribute speech delivered by a faculty member before receiving their diplomas from Head of School Mary Keever and Board of Trustees President Tom Van Dessel. Special music will be provided by the Upper School Concert Choir.
